Pico Spend

Privacy Policy
Spending data created in Pico Spend is stored on your iOS device only.

The app itself will send these data to the outside world only upon your request in the following scenarios:
  • If you generate a PDF or CSV file from your data and then send/share them via email, AirDrop, Messages app or any other option available in iOS activity view.
  • If you perform an iCloud backup from within the app, Pico Spend will send the selected spending data to iCloud servers.
    To view or delete data stored on your iCloud account, use the ‘Restore from iCloud’ option in the General tab. Alternatively, you can delete this data directly from the Settings app on your iOS device.

  • Please refer to Apple's terms for privacy, data and data connection usage or any other matter of concern while using iCloud.
    Data stored on your device
    Each expense category you create or use in the app has category name stored on your device.
    For each expense in the app the following data is stored on your device:
  • associated category,
  • amount,
  • date/time,
  • note (if any).

  • In addition to data created by you, Pico Spend stores some configuration settings on your device. These settings are used to provide a better user experience by selecting the most recently used values in the app for:
  • domestic currency symbol
  • date format
  • dashboard and reporting periods
  • summary (daily, weekly, monthly, by category) and type of report (PDF, bars, pie chart)
  • number of reporting periods used (one or two)
  • timestamp of the most recent app usage
  • data used by currency converter: enabled/disabled, foreign currency symbol, exchange rate, number of decimals used for rounding
  • passcode (if any) and the frequency of requesting the passcode
  • flag indicating whether new app features were presented to the user
